Free shuttle bus
Following on from the great success of last year’s pilot project, the free Burren Explorer Shuttle Bus will be running again fom 21st May to 20th September 2026 in the North Clare area.
The routes connect beautiful limestone areas with charming villages, and the Burren with the Cliffs of Moher.
Different routes will be available which inter-connect with each other. This enables the visitors to our beautiful area access to the local attractions without the stress of having to manoeuver a car on narrow roads.
This shuttle bus does not cost the travellers anything. However, booking is recommended to secure a seat.
This service is open to anybody, tourists and locals alike. The purpose of offering this free shuttle service is to reduce the amount of traffic on our roads.

When you use the Burren Explorer shuttle bus, you will be entitled to free admission to the Cliffs of Moher Experience!
