Join Seanchaí (storyteller), master brewer and master smoker Peter Curtin in the Roadside Tavern (est. 1865) for a session of storytelling and craft beer tasting from the Burren Brewery. Over the last 4 decades, Peter has been revivng old and almost forgotten skills that go back thousands of years: storytelling, brewing beer and smoking salmon.

Also as part of the same festival, you can join Peter’s wife Birgitta Hedin-Curtin after this hour-long event on Sunday. Birgitta will be giving a free talk on the journey of the Burren Smokehouse in the visitor centre just down the road starting at 2.30pm (free admission, but booking is required).
